I suppose I did. Just wishing it wasn't so. I liked her character, even as a Savior.

 

I read an interview today where LR explained how Laura died - Beta picked her up and basically swung her around so her head hit all of the cell bars, breaking her neck, before he slams her to the ground. You can see blood pooling by her head shortly before the camera pans away.

Definitely bummed she didn’t get any Eugene or Negan scenes this season.

Also learned in that same interview she filmed a scene with Rosita where they were killing zombies together and basically becoming friends. Made me think of that shot where they both exchanged head nods at the end of 816.

Oh and there’s a deleted scene of her and Eugene having sex from 805 bc she basically thought she and everyone was gonna die when the zombies broke into the Sanctuary so she went to Eugene’s room and was like “f*ck it” (literally )

Dang. I would have enjoyed that scene. Sometimes I think they cut the wrong stuff, lol.

 

It is still possible that that scene could come back when, just before Eugene dies, he haluncinates with flashbacks of his life.
