Her and the rest of the Garbage Pail Kids are idiotic, unnecessary, and a total waste of good screen time. There is literally no purpose they serve that couldn't have been served by other, more meaningful characters. And how did living in a trash pile during the apocalypse cause them to develop such annoying accents?!?

 

Burning trash is not a bad idea. That is all.

 

Jadis, and the Trash Pandas on the whole, are ridiculous beyond any form of redemption. Living in a tip, I can KIND of see the logic - plenty of building materials for shelter, theoretically it's gross so people should stay away.

But everything else about them is ridiculous. The accents, mainly. We've seen people give into severe mental trauma, live alone for a long time (Enid, Gabriel, and Morgan to name for a few), and they can still talk normally. And really, they are a nudist art colony now? They are far too cartoony to be taken seriously. If any of them survive the war, it'll be to the shows detriment.

 

Lol! TRASH PANDAS ! I’ve been calling them the Garbage Pail Kids, but Trash Pandas is way better. I’ll be using this term from now on. And you’re right, the more we see of them, the more absurd and ridiculous they get.

 

Stupidity wise, nothing is more stupid than the CGI tiger. The trash panda's aren't one the shows high points, but they're no more ridiculous than a few of the other post-apocalypse whack jobs.

I think the Mad Max elements are silly, but Jadis herself is entertaining. Entertaining in a stupid way.

I've always said a ship with Daryl and Jadis would be optimum. They both are dirty.

See! It's fate. They even both have a challenged vocabulary.

 

So, after Monday's episode, the impossible has happened. I actually quite like Jadis now?! At least, I have a lot of sympathy for her, now we have had an explanation for the talking (albeit a weak one). I thought Rick abandoning her was a total dick-move. Her betrayals were to look out for her people, who are now all dead, so at least help her escape and then dump her with the threat to never return. I am just waiting for her to do a Carol and somehow rescue Judith from mortal peril so she can join the group!

 

As a viewer I do have some sympathy for her, and find her more interesting than before. But from Rick's standpoint, I place no blame on him for leaving her there. She has betrayed him, shot him, pitted him against a walker twice, her people nearly beat Michonne to death..to name a few. He could have shot her, but he didn't. If I were him, there's no way I could trust her enough to take with her with me, risk my life or anyone's else's on the chance that she won't betray me or my people again. Unless she can craft a new cat sculpture for Michonne and totally redeem herself, screw Jadis

 

I totally disliked her until Rick was saved by her. I still dislike her but not totally anymore.
