Yesterday, Epstein either:

1. tried to kill himself
2. got beat up
3. tried to make it look like a. or b. to get transferred to a more cushy prison.

If he was foolish enough to try and stage something then they'll figure it out. Corrections officials have seen this sort of stuff countless times.

 

Personally, I'm betting it's a scam. If he was trying to hang himself, there should be evidence in the room -- a sheet made into a rope hanging from the bed, or whatever. If another prisoner beat him up I doubt if there would be a question as to "what happened", it would be pretty obvious someone punched his lights out. That leaves Jussie Smollett - like conduct.

At least that would be my guess at this point.

I am honestly suspicious on whether it was suicide or murder.

 

UPDATE: Being reported everywhere now, including the NYT.

He's definitely dead.

Look at the list of names of the people identified already though. English royals, American politicians. He was Trump's good buddy. He had previously had an episode where he was found unconscious, so you would think he'd be under suicide watch?

So yeah, I think it was more likely murder.
