    That may be true, but just because you have a dream, you go out and dig holes? I don't think I've ever had a dream in my life, while sleeping, that came true.

    Jim wasn't psychic, he just sensed that they were sitting ducks. & it was only a matter of time before they were lunch..

    they need flashbacks for what happened in those 7 months between season 2 and season 3

    Jim dug the holes as part of an old literary device (I think someone mentioned it above in this very thread) called foreshadowing. It suggested to the viewer (through the writers, not through any sort of psychic powers) that death was coming. The 'reality' of why he dug the holes was that he had a dream the night before about walkers attacking the camp and needing to bury their dead. You dont need to be a psychic in that environment to know that any day now, the dead would come for your group.

    Well, Jim also told Lori to watch her boy, which she failed to do. And we saw what happened in season 2--Carl's actions led to Dale being killed. Jim barely knew Rick, but knew the guy was tough as nails. I think Jim had a way of sensing things about people and future events, imo. No one else around was preparing for these things to happen.

    Many of you disagree and that's fine, but I'll bet if Jim had lived a bit longer he might have predicted a few more things...Sophia getting lost, Lori being pregnant, etc.

    Then again, I was eaten by walkers. What do I know?
