    So, I'm not going to look it up on my own for the sake of adding some discussion in here (this place is slowing becoming more of a ghost town). One of our three new characters tonight - Jimmy - Is he not the same actor from 12 Monkeys who played James Cole??

    So they made a TV show based on a film that was based on a 25 minutes short?

    The film was already a diluted and dumbed-down version of the short. I can only imagine...

    (edit: the short is a masterpiece)

    Yes, 12 Monkeys (as *I* know it) is(was) a TV series - I think it was on SyFy. I didn't know there was a short (film?). I found the TV show intriguing even if weird and hard to follow at times. It didn't last too long though (3 seasons??).

    Yea, me either. I thought it was only the movie.

    When I read the question, I assumed 92pony was talking about the kid in the flashback sequence.
