The end of the episode was lame
Pretty sure being born into a post apocalyptic world where you shoot walkers every day and get trained in the art of combat by the likes of Michonne, Carol, and Rick since you were literally born...
It would make sense to be able to shoot walker headshots at 8.
I was gonna say something similar! When we saw her before the time jump she was only what, 3? That’s too young for her to process things and they were letting her be a kid. But realistically they’d want to start training her early. This isn’t a normal world and she needs to know those things. Plus, kids learn FAST...
Pretty sure I even remember seeing briefly in one of Michonne's montages last episode her training young 3 year old Judith in defense.
Also not completely abnormal to TWD universe, as we've seen Clementine be just as badass at similar age.
I'm so excited to finally see her in the hat! But now for what I'm really quoting this message for -- how would she get the Python? Sorry if that's a dumb question, I just thought that it went down with Rick (unless I'm messing up guns here, which would not surprise me at all).
Yes! And they had Judith meet them because she looks super innocent (her voice is so sweet wtf?) and most people likely wouldn't shoot a kid. Of course, if on the off chance these people DID try to shoot her, as stated Aaron and the others are protecting her!
Pics or it didn't happen
Ah, Ellie!!! You're forgetting another badass though:
I like her. "Future" Michonne looks hardened, and probably raised Judith to be a tough little cookie.
I like to see Judith interact with Hershel Jr. He is like 2 years younger?
Absolutely loved it!!
Now Judith is definitely a lil ass kicker for sure!
Nope. Still way to far of a stretch for an 8 year old. Maybe a kid in their early teens it would be passable but not someone currently as young as Judith.
Ellie is cooler though and far better written.
I think the recoil of a Python is too much for an 8-year old to handle?
I noticed that as well. She's a different Michonne.
It was a mini katana!
The Katana, hat and gun were what I first noticed. Loved it.
She's not the calm, forgiving Michonne that was just trying to convince Maggie to let Negan live. Hmm, the tables have turned. Remember Maggie asking Michonne how she would have reacted if she saw Rick die before her eyes. Well now that will play out.
When she told Aaron "It wasn't your call to make!" I could see Michonne had changed...big time.
Its a post apocalypse world, Judith isnt a normal kid, she will have been training every day in a world that is all about survival, as for the Python and the realism, it seemed more cosmetic to complete the grimes look and for all we know she could have shot 2 handed from a prone position.
also i hate to bring up the cliche but its a zombie show, you have to suspend belief and not dig too deep into realism and nitty gritty of science
Whoo yeah....I was quite taken aback by not only the words she spoke but more so with the tone it was delivered
And then Judith stepping up to the plate and making it clear that she was the one who wanted to bring them back to ASZ....little ass kicker indeed! She was not going to let Aaron take the blame for her!
Definitely. Even when Maggie was storming in to kill Negan, possibly undoing progress that had been made up until that point, she treated her with such care and tact. This was a different Michonne for sure. That's not to say it's a bad thing necessarily, but just different. And it makes me sad because i know what caused it.
