Yes this was also not the Negan I pictured from the comics, I thought negan would talk faster, be bigger etc.

 

Oggen (trevor phillips) could be a much cooler Negan (or that guy who played Vaas in Far Cry 3)

I think that Negan was good...

 

I think JDM did great, however he did lose weight. His face was thinner and his build was way more lean than it usually is. I was picturing Negan looking more like JDM as the Comedian, body wise.

 

Honestly, aside from his f-ing huge lack of f-ing foul language and f-ing F-bombs, Negan didn't seem too f-ing bad.

He looked too skinny. The whole time he was talking I was thinking how one of these huge prison guys behind him would have shanked him by now. Besides that, he was great

 

agreed. he should have had some more meat on him for sure. also, without the f-bombs they stripped him of his Negan-ness. still, it wasn't bad.

 

he is a good actor and has an interesting look, but they should have hired either CM Punk or Kevin Durand

both of those guys are bigger and would be a more imposing Negan

 

He lost a significant amount of weight for a role last year and is still gaining it back. The dude is usually pretty massive, so hopefully he's back to normal by the time they start filming season 7.

 

I didn't know this! But was kinda concerned by how slim he was so this pleases me. Hopefully he will be bulkin' come S7

 

JDM is bigger, taller and more imposing than CM Punk, while Kevin Durand doesn't look any bit like Negan.

JDM is a good suit for Negan but they should have done more takes for his scene and made him wear looser clothing. It's just too bad he had to cut weight for a previous role. He was more imposing in Watchmen.

 

I was concerned as well because I know he's normally bigger, so I had to do a little research. I think his character in 'Texas Rising' was dying of consumption, or maybe he was just ill. Anyway, it's not a weight loss that was healthy or that he's interested in maintaining.

 

no, Punk and JDM are both same height

Punk looks more menacing and is about 220 all muscle, he is also 12 years younger

Punk would have been awesome because the dude can definitely act and we are not doing Shakespeare here

 

Mr. Crook, you are spot on. I thought exactly the same things you are saying. Maybe we are to much 'comicfollowers' but somebody like Negan should be exactly like his comic counterpart
