Unless the TV character Dr. Alice Steven takes both characters. Honestly I can't stand Karen. I'd love to see her get devoured.

had asthma when i was younger...if i didnt have inhaler i would just drink alot of water and i would be fine. it really seems that the mom is freaking out because she thought the place was safe enough for her kid, now there is no more ice cold lemonaid.

I think Karen will end up being the one that kills the gov'na. Her son may end up dying because of being forced to fight, which makes her want revenge on the gov'na.

Just something that popped into my head while watching her scenes in the episode.

 

I think Karen might be Lori's replacement. Dark hair, easy on the eyes and she likes to complain like a sumbitch. If she's not putting the moves on Rick by Season 4 I'd be surprised.

How did he survive at all if hes so sick? Its not like they're asking elderly people with cancer here to fight.

 

While I do agree that if it is as severe as they make it out to be, that it's a long shot to have survived this long, but it seems people are ignoring that there are different levels of severity of asthma (http://asthma.about.com/od/asthmabasics/a/asthma_severity.htm). Just because you, or someone you knew had or has asthma and it wasn't detrimental, means nothing about this kid. There are other levels of severity that are.

I had asthma as a kid as well, but no longer have any symptoms. I imagine it is a very different case for this person.
