A thought occurs to me that may, MAY support my theory that the flash-forward is actually the "here-after".

Gimple seems to like putting very subtle clues into his scripts, to see if we can pig/truffle them out, and he never writes anything without a reason.

What an odd choice of music, then, was "Another One Rides The Bus". Why that?

I just thought it was a song choice of Judith's. There's probably not many song choices to be found after the ZA.
Makes more sense to me as a play on Queen's "Another One Bites the Dust".

 

And it may be just that, with no deeper meaning, but why pay the royalties for a song when generic, public domain music could have been used? Or even no music?

They used a song, because if you take the word "Song", spell it backwards, then replace the G with with an M, then rotate the other three letters 6 steps forward in the alphabet, then then switch the word back around the right away, then replace every single letter with an a, an f, a t, an e, an r, and l, and i, an f, and another e, you get....Afterlife.

Idk. I'm sorry. I'm not very good at speculating and dissecting. I have a literal take on things. Maybe they knew it would make some lose their minds. I think it was a good song choice, though. It really set a creepy mood for the clip.
I often wonder if they have a team of people that jot down cool and weird songs they come across for future use, or if they just google like we do.
