this game is an okay zombie game...not great not bad...

 

Left 4 Dead is great because its made for the "casual gamer" i.e. even if you don't invest a gajillion bucks on a super spiffy computer and graphics card you can still play it. the VS mode is frikkin awesome and allows you to play with up to 8 real life people. although i've not played with that many very often because the average L4D player is an asshole. so far i only play with my husband and a couple of our friends. its ridiculously fun though.

Dead Rising was cool with all the stuff you can do and whatnot but Windows Live sucks on the PC and we had so many network issues we couldn't play together. even if we could, its only 2 players max so we couldn't play with our buddy who also has it.

 

I prefer the first L4D and it's such a great game. I mainly like it because I am a fan of Valve Software and they make great games. I spend a lot of time on Versus.

 

Own and played Left 4 dead (1) Really loved it pretty addicting, fun to play with a friend. Haven't played the second one but it looks the same. Gets boring after awhile tho.

 

Left 4 dead is my favorite game of all time, its just immense. Second one is good but the first ones is the best

 

I'm totally obsessed with left 4 dead 1&2 . I love that it has alot of similar locations to walking dead =hospital, woods, blocked highway

The game is awesome. I like the four character set up- you can play with friends. But not too many. Lol.
The tier 2 weapons are pretty cool and the "specials" - the harder characters that aren't zombies are a great idea.

I play it ALL THE TIME.

I'm loving the add-ons and all the stuff that comes along with the game including it's own online comic (giving the backstory of the characters and the plushie toys, the merch etc etc

In season one of The Walking Dead, there are a few scenes which look like they've come right from the game. It really helped zombie-fy my world, everywhere I went, I was getting my zombie fix.

 

L4D is one of my favorite games, I haven't played it in 2 years ever since I switched to ps3.
It's a great game though, I recommend it if you haven't played it before.

 

Yeah 2 wins especially since all the maps from the first game returned.

which is disappointing to me. I own both games on steam and I love the gameplay of the first better. DOn't get me wrong, the second is good.

 

I play 1 for versus all th etime. (well I used to last year. It got real addicting for me) No idea why I stopped playing L4D2. It was my first steam game!

never played the games but ive just watched 3 parts of the "movie" on youtube, wasnt too bad
