Like, come on! You had a loaded weapon (the Governors gun) and you let yourself be swarmed by walkers? Why not shoot yourself in the head? I know she wanted to die after literally losing everything but why not shoot yourself?

What do you think? Bullet to the head or eaten alived by walkers?

I go with bullet to the head.

It sounded kind of like how Shumpert died...they didn't care anymore. I'd use my last bullet to kill Rick or Michonne.

Probably a little bit of both. She was most likely extremely emotionally distraught, which led to a lack of reaction to the danger surrounding her. I assume that when she "snapped out of it" she realized she was overwhelmed, attempted to fight, but no longer had the will. She was then most likely bit/attacked, pulled down to the ground, and then "opted out" while the still had the choce.

I don't know if she really died, but if she was feeling suicidal or allowed to be eaten I wouldn't be surprised. Her daughter just died, she shot the Gov (which can be traumatic), and she was surrounded by chaos and zombies. She didn't have much of a clear head.

Lied to... dead child... really no hope otherwise and she's pretty distraught. And what part of "they swarmed her" lacked subtlety? It wasn't like Tara was going anywhere and missed it.

Lori, who had been secretly surviving at the prison, finally ended her exile and saved Lilly at the last minute

I'm unsure if she is dead or not. If she is, she just lost her child suddenly and the man she loved and thought had good intentions turned out to be a very bad man. She was in shock and probably very depressed, I think it makes sense that she wanted to die.

Good lord, not another thread about how she jumped into bed with the Governor!!

Look, she was lonely. She'd been living on slim jims and yoohoo for 2 years and her malnourished brain wasn't up to making wise decisions. He was like a pirate who shaved and didn't have an annoying bird or a peg-leg to cause a splinter hazard.

Oh wait, the thread's about how shooting herself would be a better death than being chewed to death? Yeah, I agree. :Chainsaw:

Still bothered that they unceremoniously offed the character who finished off the main villain of season 3. Death by exposition.

She must have felt that she had nothing to live for as she just lost her daughter and probably didn't know where her sister was. On top of that she just finished killing the man she thought was going to protect her and her family.

Andrew and the Governor were shown surrounded by walkers, and both survived. Andrew's return didn't happen for two episodes.

It's kind of like the soap opera theory, if you don't see a body, they're still alive.

I would've liked the "unknown" fate much better, just like in the comics, not an off-screen death...

What evidence is there for Lilly's death?
