The writing is really iffy just like it is in the regular show. But I like the performances in Fear a lot more. They seem like regular people where as the characters in TWD are cartoons at this point.

The problem with FTWD for me was I struggled to find a character I really liked. That struggle ended with John. Now he, like Glenn ofTWD, is gone. . . And gone with them is the energy with with I use to watch both programs. I started to watch these programs with a fairly large group of people. More than half of fhe people quit watching when Glenn and Abraham died. One by one people lost interest as their favorite charactors died. TV is different than comic books. People get more invested in the TV show and it's charactors. You just can't kill off the popular ones as frequently as they do and expect to keep an audence.. . . . . Just sayin'

This was a 0 out of 10 for me.

I must be the only one who really didn’t care for John. I don’t know if he tried too hard to be a good man or just the way he talked.
I can’t say I will miss him, but I did like the episode.

I have a feeling Dakota is not who we really think she is. (Think Lizzie).

That's true. And a big problem with that is that while most serialized shows often have a cap of about five or six seasons that they go AMC seems to want these Walking Dead shows to go on as long as it is financially viable for them to go on. Actors (just like regular people) want to move on to something else in their careers after awhile and tend to not want to do shows for that long. Even Fear now is getting into it's 7th season.

I'm glad that Fear finally killed SOMEONE, but did it have to be John Dorie? He wasn't very high on my list of people who have to kick the bucket. Interesting twist that Dakota is now revealed to be a little nutty. Maybe both sisters die in the near future?

*I see the actor wanted off the show but still wish his character could have continued on

I am pretty surprised that they have been able to keep Debnam-Carey on the show for the entirety of it. I think she might be one who prefers tv over doing numerous different movie projects.

This one really surprised me. I didn't expect them to kill John Dorie off, particularly in the premiere. It reminded me a little of the Nick death episode. Lennie James and Garret Dillahunt were excellent. Haven't had one this good on Fear in a couple of years.

It's often better to leave a little too soon, than a little too late. That's why deaths like Shane and Merle were memorable on TWD. Dillahunt has been in numerous projects. I can understand why he didn't want to stagnate in the role.
