Now imagine the sheer luck. Like they were all running around with 4 leaf clovers in every pocket. Lucky penny's in their shoes. That neither Nicholas and Deannas other son or Heath and Holly ever had a run in or slightest inkling that the Wolfs or Saviors were near by threats. Or even the "good guys" Hilltop. Amazing really!
Or even Aaron and Eric out looking for people to bring back.

The Saviors probably saw the signs pointing out where the development was and figured that no one would be stupid enough to hunker down there and leave the signs up. :)

Don't the saviors live like several hours drive away. That's a long ass ways in a world where gas is an extreme commodity you don't want to waste.

If the Saviors were concerned with gas mileage they wouldn't have 10 guys riding Harley Davidsons around. at say 40mpg each, riding 10 of them is ~4mpg. They could have taken a couple of school buses instead.

The whole point about Alexandria is just how lucky it was.

And this kinda shit happenens all the time.

We just discovered an Aztec pyramid, just hanging out in the jungle because of Google Maps.

There's a fair distance between all these groups, and not a lot of people in it. You put Belgium in Northern Ontario and lose it.

Pretty sure they use those because it's way easier to attack people and dodge walkers in a motorcycle than having 20 of you hunched into a school bus. There's a reason Daryl rides the motorcycle instead of Eugene or someone. Yeah gas milage isn't their #1 priority when it comes to safety, but I still see them focusing on communities like Hilltop that are closer to them before they seek to expand their influences further out.

The alexandrians were lucky, no denying that, but I don't think its some crazy unplausible scenario considering how far they were.

This is a universe where perhaps 1 in 5000 people are alive. By default, if you're still around...you're lucky.

As an englishman that experienced "Rolling thunder" in Washington DC, that many Harley Davidsons is going to announce you for miles! Not a great idea in this dog eat dog world.

they were 20 miles away from ASZ when they led the walker herd away, and the Hilltop 'could be reached in less than a day by car' per Jesus. The Saviors could be another 20 miles past the place where the met up with them, so I don't think it is unrealistic to not run into a community 50 miles from you.
