Another thing Rick needs to realize is by repeatedly giving to the Saviors, you're just continuing the way things were before. With the Saviors' lousy asses just taking from the other communities while they terrorized them. Yeah Negan is locked up but the Saviors are still taking resources when they can do much more to get their own things. So yes Maggie is right. They should stop just handing the Saviors valuable resources and get something in return.

 

I think they should have abandoned the Sanctuary and razed it to the ground -far too many bad memories for everyone. Then, The Saviours should have been split up sensitively (in respect of family and friendship groupings) amongst the surviving communities. A fresh start for everyone.

 

I agree, divide up the saviors among the three colonies and if the saviors still act up, split up three ways, take care of the divided problem saviors and keep life moving forward. Saviors are like Gregory, give them every opportunity to join the community, and if the resist/try to kill someone, there is always plenty of rope.
