Magic hatchet?

    Okay, so I had real trouble following the path of the hatchet from the time Negan threw it outside the rv. Wasn't it on the ground about 20 feet from Rick? Then it was on top? I don't remember seeing Rick pick it up, use it, or place it on the top of the rv. Then Rick jumps off the rv and where is the axe? Did he put it in his belt and it fell to the ground?

    I admit that I only saw this episode once, so maybe I missed something?

    Negan threw it on top, right after bashing a walker

    Ah, thank you. I was able to see some video that was posted and Negan did just flip it up on top of the rv. I don't know why i thought I saw it on the ground some where.

    Yeah I lost track of it also because it wasn't a focus, that said on the replay of the episode you can hear the hatchet land on the rv roof when Negan deked Rick.

    My 1st thought was climb the rv to get a better view of the surroundings without even realizing it was up there.

    Negan threw the hatchet on top of the RV and Rick picked it up when Negan started shooting up at Rick from inside the RV. Rick dropped it in the grass when he jumped and hung on to the hanging walker dude.

    Thanks all. That hatchet on the RV made no sense to me, either.

    That confused me to. I thought the sound of it landing on the ground didn't sound right but then it was on the roof it made more sense but thought Negan threw it into the walkers.
