Geology (from the Greek γῆ, , i.e. "earth" and -λoγία, -logia, i.e. "study of, discourse"[SUP][1][/SUP][SUP][2][/SUP]) is an earth science comprising the study of solid Earth, the rocks of which it is composed, and the processes by which they change. Geology can also refer generally to the study of the solid features of any celestial body (such as the geology of the Moon or Mars).
Geology gives insight into the history of the Earth by providing the primary evidence for plate tectonics, the evolutionary history of life, and past climates. Geology is important for mineral and hydrocarbon exploration and exploitation, evaluating water resources, understanding of natural hazards, the remediation of environmental problems, and for providing insights into past climate change. Geology also plays a role in geotechnical engineering and is a major academic discipline.

*While I understand the importance of geology, I find it highly boring.*

I don't know where my poop is going. I put a small transistor on it and it went to Herbert Hoover national museum. Pepsodent is my preferred toilet paper. It's complete care, complete protection, for strong enamel and healthy gums. It whitens teeth and it strengthens my confidence with art majors.

An atom contains both protons and neutrons in its central nucleus. In fission, the nucleus splits, either through radioactive decay or because it has been bombarded by other subatomic particles known as neutrinos. The resulting pieces have less combined mass than the original nucleus, with the missing mass converted into nuclear energy.
