I'm a huge Batman (DC) fan, but also have equal liking for Marvel's Iron Man (had a massive Iron Man comic collection when I was a kid) as well as Spiderman, & one of my new faves Deadpool. Overall I'd give the edge to Marvel in the hero department (especially with Wolverine and X-Men in the fold), but DC has the best villains: Joker, Bane, & Deathstroke being some of my faves there...
Marvel possesses my childhood memories and my favorite super hero Spider-Man and I enjoy reading their comics so I guess I'll pick Marvel. But I enjoy DC as well.
This, I like both marvel and DC, but I like DC movies more becuase they are great films. Now I wish they focus on different superheroes instead of focusing on Batman so much, and with Ben Affleck.
I've always loved Marvel and DC, but the older I get the more I realize I prefer DC. Marvel has titles, stories and characters I love.. but DC has consistently put out amazing stuff. I'm re-reading the Watchmen and can't get over how brilliant it is. Granted Alan Moore isn't with DC now..
Comics AND movies?! Really? There may have been a time when DC outshone Marvel in both categories but as of late...I found new 52 a perfect "jumping off" point for DC. As far as movies go...DC has some catching up to do.
