There's a connection with Clear. Remember how Morgan burned the walker corpses? I don't think his return in that episode was just a random one off. It's going to tie into the storyline.

Rick made him aware of the fight against Woodbury, even though Morgan refused to join it. That sort of sets the stage for him to reconsider and intervene.

We also know that Morgan has elite guerrilla warfare tactics. We saw all of the traps that he laid in the town. Sneaking around in black and torching walkers (that were to be used on Rick) is classic guerrilla warfare.

It was pretty clear that Milton did it, especially since Laurie Holden said it about ten minutes ago :zombies_lol:

And now, it's time to see who the walker burner REALLY is.

    *removes mask*

Jinkies! It's old man Morgan from the abandoned Georgian town!

You can't see the connections to Clear?

    1. Morgan was burning the walker corpses with gasoline. The saboteur in this episode also burned walkers with gasoline. Both the gasoline and the burning of walkers connect to Clear. The governor put special emphasis on the gasoline.

    2. Morgan employed traps such as punji sticks, barbed wire, and tripwires in the town. The saboteur was a solo operative, employing stealthy guerrilla tactics to burn Woodbury's walker pits.

    3. Morgan wore a black disguise, just like the saboteur.

Morgan has no idea who is actually causing Rick problems, and he was content staying in King's County because he had to Clear. Plus, Morgan burned walker CORPSES, not "living" walkers. Killing them was a very important concept having to do with the term Clear.

Also, it's not guerrilla warfare or elite tactics to sneak up on something in the middle of the night when it's a post-apocalyptic world. It's a really exaggerated way to describe this.

It would make no narrative sense for Morgan to show up having no knowledge of Woodbury to burn some walkers.

Can't you see the reasons why it's not?
    1. Laurie Holden said it was Milton

2.AMC Story Sync asked why Milton did it.

3.Morgan would have no idea who's pets he's burning for all he knows they're Ricks!

    1. Morgan knows nothing about woodbury and it's situation
    2. Kings County is possibly too far from that Pit near Woodbury. So he drove all the way down there at night to burn walkers?

And would an actor in the show really spoil future episodes like that?

The saboteur being Morgan would be a big twist. She could have been running a deflection for the reveal.

Rick told Morgan that they were at the prison. There aren't that many prisons around, and it's not hard to think that a native resident of Georgia would know where local prisons are located. Morgan could have went there, tracked Rick to the meeting with the governor and then followed them to Woodbury from there.

Clear set the stage for Morgan to intervene as the 'reluctant hero'.

His return in that episode (sandwiched in the middle of the prison vs woodbury storyline) seems a little too random to just be a one off.

I'm sure Morgan could find the prison. Rick probably even told him how to get there if he changed his mind. But Morgan would never be wandering around at night and burning a pit of walkers out in the middle of nowhere.

It would fit his personality based on all of the ingenious traps we saw him lay in the town. That's all I'm saying.

What if it was Morgan? What if after Rick left, Morgan decided to go to the prison and found the pits. They showed a vehicle right? I can't remember, anyone know the vehicle?
