Mw2 was great. Mw3 ruined by bad game developers.

Why change the running style of shotguns from mw2 too 3 .

They got to write new code to make it worse.

Then nerfing the spas by reducing damage minus 25 percent inatch 1 .08 was mind numbingly stupid. The gun underperformed anyway why make it worse lol. Then the aa12 got range nerfed 7 hits at 7 meters to get a kill lol.

 

I understand the aa12 Nerf it's fully auto it shouldn't have extreme range, did they need to go so far with it though.

 

I "Liked" it when it came out (because lets be honest the older games was mainly hacked lobby's)

but trying to play it now is a no, To many explosions, to much air controlled kill streaks causing even more explosions.


hit detection was good after like the second patch. but TBH it was only good while it lasted.

bo1 nuketown, ahh what a great map just cutting off noobs lol me and roxy just camping in the bunkbed but sometimes i would knock my head off the ceiling and die

MW3 improved the unlock system for weapons. Finally gave us a mode similar to zombies. Campaign was better than COD4/MW2 until the very last act of 3's campaign(blame Activison for locking IW out in early development for this game). Splitting up the perk Cold Blooded into different perks was a genius idea. Reconnaissance from WaW was brought back, but changed completely rendering the Advanced UAV null and void cuz both had a similar effect. EMP Grenade was good addition, but sucked against pointstreaks(thank god bo2 made them op). The title/emblem unlock system was the same which was a good idea. AND MW3 TERMINAL=GOD

 

Nuke town and Terminal both suck. Noob maps right there

 

I thought it was the shittiest COD ever until black ops 2 was released, I never thought the maps and spawns could get worse than MW3 but my god they went and achieved it. MW3 maps are good compared to those heap of poo.

I don't know how but since BO1 they manage to make the maps worse and worse. MW2 was the last COD with really good maps.

 

If it wasn't for zombies I would of snapped my bo2 disc in half and gone back to mw3 multiplayer the night of release, mw3 was and still is the best multiplayer cod IMO

 

IW tends to play it safe while treyarch tries all this new stuff, most which don't work out. wtf Spawns, lag, maps are terrible (all of them are super tiny and this combined with terrible spawn system = constant spawn trapping). Don't even get me started on what they did to zombitches. The only things i didn't like about mw3 multiplayer was death streaks and assassin. So to answer your question, no, it isn't.

 

I agree dude, MW2 had the best maps from any COD.

 

Mw2 is amazing. Mw3 is wtf is this.

 

Modern Warfare 3 is the epitome of a garbage multiplayer.

Horrible maps. Horrible spawn points. Assassin is overpowered. Support Streaks are flawed. Deathstreaks still exist. Spec Ops/Survival was a letdown. The MP7, ACR, MSR, and PP90M1 accounts for 98% of gun usage in the game.

Easily the worst Call of Duty any of us have had to put up with.

 

I strongly disagree.. MW3 is beast. Black Ops II is also great. Mark my words buddies..

 

Survival was fun. Nothing like beating out your highest wave by the skin of your nuts. Then frantically attempting to regroup for the next round only to get smoked. Good times!
