I just re-watched "30 Days Without An Accident" and it's definitely my favorite episode of Season 4 so far, probably even the series.

There's just so much going on in this episode which, let's be honest, hasn't been Season 4's biggest area. Not saying that's a bad thing, but I honestly think TWD works better when there's a lot going on. In this episode every character had a role and something to do, everyone was developed more.

And pretty much every little scene was golden. Glenn looking at a baby crib(?), Rick and the girl, Carl seeing Carol showing girls the knives, everything Patrick did, the group joking with eachother while going to the store, that whole brilliant attack of the crashed plane zombies. It was just action packed and never stopped being exciting, but was also very moving and had a lot of character development. And Beth's reaction to her Zach's death and her and Daryl's little moment, just perfect.

I think that moving forward the writers should look up to this episode, it was really their best yet in my opinion. That might change, but a 2nd viewing really got me to like it.
