Yeah, I think he's fine. A flaming bat whacking at his leather jacket basically gave him the plot armor he needed to live - i.e., sterilization and padding.

Yeah, the leather could absorb/protect from the barbs, but, taking a Louisville Slugger to the ribs?!?! Yeah, nobody is hopping up and running around like nothing happened after that! LOL!

 

Was thinking Lucille or even his car crash. Seems like they went to length to show the blood had gone everywhere in the crash and if Negan had any lacerations from the crash...

Might not be Negan but seems like an obvious twist to the plot to have their new biowarefare weapon backfire on somebody.

 

Unless Negan is the one who is immune to the virus, thus another need for him to be spared... ;-)
