    Dunno. Cult type settings aren't usually based on logic. Hard to explain in real life too. weve seen what happens to those who cross him. Killing really seems to be a last resort.

    Possibly. But that's getting old too. Kirkman loves to make guys look tough and scary, then expose them as incompetent boobs.

    I think they were thugs but just the office lackeys who can let loose. It would vary I guess though of course.
    When has he done that often? Maybe the hunters? But they weren't incompetent just less competent.
    Unless you mean Negan but he is pretty competent.

    Pretty much the Governor and his crew to a T. And most of Negan's men.

    The governors men were never shown to be tough except for Bruce and gabe. The others never changed from intro.

    how do we know Negans men aren't thugs? We know not all of them are but we haven't really seen them

    The Governor and his crew looked tough with the tank and all those trucks. But they turned out to be incompetent losers. Then Jesus shows up and goes all Steven Segal on Negan's crew. I don't know. It's just the way they're constantly outmaneuvered by Rick's crew. Again, the score is like Rick & Co. - 25 or something and Saviors - 3. Makes em seem dumb.

    We already knew they were incompetent before that. They also succeeded at killing everyone.

    the saviors only just now started really fighting. I think it's to soon for now. Jesus hit beaten earlier. Surprise helped him there. It's not like he is well Jesus.

    I don't think Negan is going to last much longer. Too many people with too many incentives to kill him. He's dead.

    I doubt he outlives the war. It won't be easy though.
    Issue 113. We know. It isn't pleasant. (yes the comic had addressed this... lol!)

    It looks like he'll die soon, which kinda sucks, he's one of the bad boys that doesn't feel like he's overstayed his welcome, he's certainly my favorite so far.

    Probably is Kirkman's greatest creation in his career, he has gotten so popular in 24 issue it is almost unnatural. He is currently getting more panel time than anyone in the comics and I am glad, he really adds a great angle to the series. I do however, think he is going to die in Issue 126. But damn, Kirkman outdid The Governor and had created one of the best villains I have ever seen.

    I think he could escape and go on the run rather than being killed. He'd loose all of his men in the process and be left out on his own. It'd allow them to end the war while keeping the feeling that the threat of Neegan coming back is always there. Plus, then they could do some side character stories with him.
