Yeah, I was thinking that too....the original cast can not appreciate that. ;). And perhaps they will be travelling along County Road 91....

She gets the same billing as the walker with a stake through it.

As much as I love Morgan and think the crossover has worked well so far, I can't help but feel super bummed for Kim Dickens. It's really tough to create a female lead that is as successful as a male one...a Rick Grimes for example. To follow in those footsteps as the lead of another TWD show is a big job. I was really liking her this season.

And now i can't stop seeing a toilet, thanks @Rapscallion!

Sorry, @Jen7. AMC is just as guilty as the rest of Hollywood for being so lazy with photoshop in marketing their shows or movies.

I agree with you about Kim Dickens. I wasn't fond of her character Madison until season SB, when she came up with that idea of luring the walkers out of the hotel. By season 3, Madison became a leader and the show itself had found its footing. Now, all of that was thrown away because Gimple enjoys having Morgan force his philosophy of nonviolence on others while being prone to violence himself.

You can tell that Kim Dickens was really impacted by being written off the show. She even said Madison was the sort of role she was working her whole career to have. I'm surprised they didn't wait until the second half to kill her off since they already had a big death in Nick. They must have really not liked her character to do it this abruptly. We didn't even get to see Lennie or Garret Dillahunt act with her. It's too bad.

I do not think that Dave Erickson would have chosen this path for her character. I miss him as showrunner. I know, I know I am suppose to think that season 4 has been awesome but in all honesty it was just "meh" and that is just my one word couch review. For me, season 3 thus far is still the better of the seasons.

I read an article not long after the season finale aired about the fate of Kim Dickens. In the article it was stated that Gimple went to the new showrunners and suggested that they give Nick her death and spare her character but the new guys were insistent on the arc they had planned for her. Now take that with as many grains of salt as you wish.

He really cannot win. The man is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't

Personally I do not have an issue with Mr. Gimple. While I do not always agree with his choices, for example,my pain and agony and general pissiness over the lack of Jesus is well known, my disdain in regard to the over exposure of Daryl is also not something I try to hide. I do believe that at the heart of it he makes those tough calls based on what he believes to be in the best interest of the show and based on the resources he has available to him. I realize that no one (fans) is going to agree with every decision he makes BUT I do laugh at those who go on and on about it as if they could do a better job.
