You know what bothered me about Terminus? They didn't necessarily have refrigeration, and here they were going to kill 5 adults for food at once. It's not like they had 100 people living there, so wouldn't that meat just go bad? Why not let them live and just kill off one every time you get hungry?

 

they could have salted and dried the meat (made jerky). they wouldn't need to refrigerate to keep it from spoiling.
