I do think "nooby" is generally a pretty childish term, but I'll assume anyway that you're referring to the ones that are easiest to use. Weapons, I'll say the FMG-9 Akimbo for extreme sprayability, Striker for damage and sprayability and MP7 for lack of recoil. Killstreaks, I'd say none of them are really cheap or scrubby in that sense but if I had to choose, I'd say pretty much anything that is AI-controlled because, simply, you don't have to do anything.

You've got to be kidding me dude. Out of all the killstreaks in the game, how in the fhucking hell could the Recon Drone be regarded as the most nooby? That's madness.

Guns:
I would say MP7 but sadly I like this gun (I fell shame for it) and none of the other guns are that OP.

Killstreaks:
This is a top one. Stealth bomber and EMP but only because support. And I hate Pred also. Fortunatly the "Mass destruciion" killstreaks (AC-130, chooper/osprey) are harder to get in this. But personaly I think generaly the users controled killstreak are more stonger and I wouldn't miss them.

 

Lets see, maybe the fact that it gives your team a blackbird just for getting 10 points in an entire game. The recon drone is the most annoying killstreak in the game. If your tagged by one of those your pretty much dead. Those things must have costed me over 50 MOABs in the past year.

Then their is the fact that you have to be a complete fhucking retard to actually use the recon drone. It takes you out of your charector so you can go fly around and tag people on the radar. It is of minimal help to your team, and even less to yourself. The only reason why people use it is either they think its cool to fly around in a little RC helicopter, or for some reason they think that getting a ton of assist makes they good at the game. Honestly, you have to be a complete scrub to use that thing.

In fact, I would say that the recon drone is the epitome of a "nooby" killstreak. It's a gimmick put into the game just to give the "noobs" something fun to use.

IMO, pretty much any support killstreak is "nooby." Granted thier are a few people who use them like they were intended (play the objective and you don't have to worry about dying), the majority of people who use them only have them on because they aren't good enough to get a real killstreak. Of all the bullshit in MW3, the support killstreaks are the worst.

As far as guns: striker, usas, t-95, and the FMG's. The ACR and MP7 aren't even remotely over powered, yes they are amazing guns, but they still take some degree of skill to use. If you give a noob an MP7, he's not gonna magically become amazing at the game. If you give that same noob a striker with damage or akimbo FMG's, he will instantly turn into a god. That pretty much sums it up.

Also, considering that all the best players use the ACR and MP7, I don't think that "nooby" would be a good word to describe them.

 

Stealth Bomber is most definitely a wrong doing from Activison. Its more powerful than most Assault killstreaks, and is extremely easy to earn.

Unlike most of the MW3 community, I don't have a problem with Support. Without support my first few months on the game would have been a disaster.

On topic of Assault, I absolutely hate unmanned helicopters. They really piss the hell out of me and it really sucks to be trapped in an open area without anywhere to run.

And of course as for specialist, well it's the only reason I play MW3 anymore. In no way is it overpowered, a kill is a kill even with specialist bonus. It takes skill to run huge killstreaks, and specialist bonus is a huge aid that was an excellent idea for people who play competitively.

As for weapons, I don't think all-too-many weapons are overpowered. They've all got disadvantages, some more than others but it is safe to say its easier to use some weapons more than others.

The only overpowered weapons IMO are Type 95 and M16. If you use these guns alot you'll understand what I mean. After you get used to the feel of them, and can hit all three rounds in one pull (aim accurately), they are extremely powerful. As long as you pull the trigger first, they've got no chance.

With automatics, your enemies get hit multiple times before dieting. With the burst weapons, they're instantly dead.

 

Total madness - if used properly the recon drone is just as effective as being in the middle of the battle. And has monster points for a 'tagged assist'. (Manly when HUD is available though)

 

They definitely made a mistake with such a powerful killer being on the support killstreak, I use 'support' purely for my stealthbomb kills.

Nope. Announcing that Stealth has the most 'bang' for how easily it is achieved.

Depending on game type and who I am playing with, I will use support because I am a team-player.

 

This is why it is a skillful killstreak. Finding and tagging those that have assassin and blind eye is more than half the fun. Re-tagging just starts to make them angry....

 

I like to look at it in this light; most of the people that complain about a gun being 'nooby' are merely being killed by a better player, simple as that. However, I agree when I say the Striker and FMG9's are annoying not 'nooby'. MP7 isn't 'nooby' at all and neither is the Type-95, most people just like to moan when something doesn't go there way.

 

Good shout. In war not all guns are the same, some are bigger and better than others. It is the way that the owner of that gun uses it that matters.

All that being said; clans of shot-gun only players are really, really annoying [but can be beaten]

 

Akimbo FMG9's & Striker. When a weapon has to be nerfed on 3 separate occasions, you know there's a problem.
