I have criticized the show from time to time so I thought I could take the time to state my appreciation for what was one of my favourite episodes of the series to date. Loved the dialogue, loved rick and carl bonding, loved Hershel being a total stand-up badass, loved every minute of it... and who can forget the fruit leathers!

I agree 110%. This season is so much better than the last.

Hope Sasha & Glenn both make it. Glenn is a given, but I was surprised by how much I wanted Sasha to pull through.

It was brilliant. It's even more than we could ask for.

This is probably my second favorite episode this season, behind Indifference. I loved that Hershel played the bad-ass, even if its meant as his finale. :( :(

Agreed. I don't know what it was but after seeing Sasha close to death it made me realize just how much I wanted her to live, not as much as I wanted Glenn to live though.

I loved how they combined action and story. It's like what would happen if Scott G and Glenn M co wrote an episode.

Me too, I think this was the best episode I've seen since the first season. It was really suspenseful and nail-biting, I didn't know what was going to happen!

Yes, stellar episode. So much to say, so little reason to need to.

Best of the season so far, imo. I'm really liking the way this season has shaped up so far.

Agreed, great episode. I did yell at the tv a little over some character choices (like waiting to stab someone in the head, and seeing a walker pretty much push down a fence by himself) but that's just me.

Glen/Maggie was actually touching instead eye roll inducing. And Sasha got a few more lines! Yay Sasha (don't die).

But what's this you're saying about Herschel?! Is that a spoiler? Who is your source? Please don't tell me this is one of those let's showcase this character and then kill him off tropes?

I agree one of the best episodes ever....story and action. Fantastic!!! I've always loved Hershel but man I just adore him now. He's the holder of hope, humanity can remain and come back...I just love him for that, not to mention Scot Wilson's fantastic performance tonight. Wow, just wow. That ending scene with him when he opens his Bible and then just can't read it and breaks down into tears. Such a touching scene. Rick and Carl bonding and what a badass duo they were in the courtyard. Glad they're getting back on track and Rick is realizing his son is ok and has come back from the darkside (lol). Oh oh and the end with the Governor peeking through the trees....oh lord what firestorm is coming next. I can't wait till next week.
