My favourite part of the timeline progression was at the start when Rick knees over her and pours the bottle of water across her neck and chest.


I suspect that's happened since but we won't be lucky enough to view it. Damn.


ETA: the scene where Carl and M go into the cafe (actually that entire episode, protein bars included) was so cute and nice, that cat, I love it.

I always wanted Rick and Michonne to get together and noticed all of the signs in their interactions with one another. But I never thought the producers would actually do it. When Jessie was shown as someone Rick was into I thought she would go on as his love interest. Then she died. Which is a huge reason Michonne makes since for Rick. He needs a woman that can stay alive. Not just as a lover, but the woman nurtures and protects his kids. And did you see Michonne put that woman on her ass for punching Rick? Hello?! So I'm glad it happened. I just don't want either of them to change from the warriors we love them for being.

I've been married coming up on 10 years later this year and they remind me a lot of that. A lot of warm familiarity and respect. A true deep love.
