The smell of a live human or a rotted walker catching fire would be a different aroma from someone cooking steaks made from human meat, the same way that a live deer catching fire in the woods would be different than cooking venison on your grill. I'm not sure that they would know the smell of cooking human fillets. To me, the cannibal angle seems to obvious; they are throwing it in our faces almost with the grill and steaks. I think its a bait and switch. ;)

That's my guess. It's almost like its too obvious.

My brother is a firefighter. He once had a fire where an old man was burnt to a crisp. He told me the whole house smelled like burnt chicken.
He couldn't eat chicken for a long time..

Maybe he was cooking chicken at the time the fire started. ;)

Maybe they use a marinade that makes it smell better... Like some Bethaque sauce or something...

Ditto what others have said. If it was prepared properly like any other meat it would have a similar odor but I had a small chunk of skin on my left arm burned off with a laser at the dermatologist—it stunk up the place pretty quick. The doctors at that clinic call the distinct smell moo shu you.

Indeed. I never eat meat, with the exception of sea food, bought from the store. I hunt most everything I eat. And what I don't hunt I get from farmers and ranchers I know that raise their stock natural.

The irony that Glenn was a takeaway delivery boy before the ZA . If Terminus is what we suspect he just delivered the hunters their dinner.
Lets hope for Rosita's sake they aren't in the mood for a spicy Mexican

Meat, human or not, i guess, will still smell "normal". What make things "smell bad" in ANY living being, is things like hair and skin.
