Season 3 Hershel (Spoiler for episode 1)

When he gets bit and his leg gets hacked off it wasn't surprising at all. The Walking Dead video game has you do that and in the show it was just like...Ohp. No delay on chopping it either, no screaming, no one saying stop.

Might've just been a bad scene that made it not-hard-to-look-at, but I don't know!

That looked like it hurt, but why would you walk so close! Also, how do they know that cutting off the leg will actually do anything.

Either way, he had two painful moments!

I was afraid someone was going to get mortally wounded or killed... I heard Rick in the preview tell the Governor "We spilled blood" and was terrified someone (I guessed Hershel or Beth) would get it.

I LOVED the fact that there was no delay. It was only after Rick finally cut it off did he shudder a bit from disgust. They all knew what had to be done and no-one wanted Herschel dead, least of all Rick and Herschel's kids.

I can only hope they are going to rig him up with a fancy peg leg like Merl got a fancy new hand.

If anything I hope when he gets killed off, "Talking Dead" already confirmed he was supposed to die in Season 2 but is definitely dying Season 3, it's when the Governor is around like in the comics, he took a man's death there. Not a "IM BLEEDING..............................."

I'm pretty sure like how Beth is taking Sophia's place, Hershel took Dale's.

Don't bother announcing a spolier alert in the heading if you're gonna include the subject of the spoiling with it.:zombies_rolleyes:

I thought it was okay to discuss once the episode aired and was no longer considered a spoiler. Did I miss something because I have been blabbing left and right about what happened in the show tonight. It's why I joined a walking dead forum. To talk about the show.

I want to see him start growing crops like in the comic. The prison issues were some of my favorite, getting used to walkers around every day, just living life semi-normal. I was like, YEAH!

Not all members get to view it at the same time, so we try to keep the spoilers under wraps for a week or so after it airs. Keeping the discussion on the new episode in it's dedicated forum("Seed") should help keep spoilers to a minimum.

It's being aired like 3 times in a row, so if someone missed it that's their fault.

So I shouldn't be discussing specific events until next Sunday?

No, no, it's not that at all. Just keep spoilers out of thread titles, keep it in the forum for the episode, and that's really about it. If they've yet to see the episode, they should avoid the episode's forum.

I actually just went and re-read the forum rules as I have been away from the forum for a while and probably should have done that first thing anyway. I think I'm good, though like I said I have been blabbing about tonights episode all over the place.
