Perhaps some specialty walkers for S4?

    I'd like like to see some variations in the walkers for S4. Now, nothing outrageous, just some special or unexpected variables with just certain undead, for example the riot control zombies in S3, or a walker like Merl, with 1 arm as a weapon because the original survivor was outfitted that way, or like the scene from Adrian's Undead Diary inside the daycare when he was surprised because all the undead were so low to the ground, "ankle-biters".
    If you have some other good ideas please feel free to share!

    I doubt we'll see any major differences. They've said from the start of the series that they don't want the walkers to stand out unless it's essential for the story(Merle, Shane, etc). They've always wanted them to be one massive swarming force rather than have radical changes in their looks like Romero had in Day of the Dead.

    The riot control walkers were just a way of setting up the idea that now the group would have that gear, which we've seen them use multiple times since.

    I came into this topic expecting like l4d types specialty. haha

    But yeah I agree with Bass on this topic.

    I also thought we would be discussing L4D stuff. LOL I must say, I think the Hunter was one of the most horrifying things when I first started playing it. LOL

    That'd be kind of cool= some sort of mutant zombie that's extra evil or hard to get away from.

    Maybe even something like the rage virus types in 28 days/weeks later, their ability to run fast actually freaked me out.

    Definitely no "super" zombies. TWD isn't Resident Evil or L4D. It doesn't have to rely on those kinds of gimmicks.

    Perhaps zombies of body builders?
    Or, have Al Horford and Zaza Pachulia as guest zombies?

    i second this.

    maybe an obese walker, like sumo big. or midget walker, just for shits and giggles

    more celebrity cameos as walkers would be cool too

    Ughhh the "ankle biter" images give me the creeps! I half expected to see something horrific like that when they went to that daycare in TWD (but that was before I read aud)

    Eh I have no desire to see some "special zombies" like TWD. The riot gear zombies were cool and unexpected though. I'd just like to see the walkers become a bit of a threat again.

    I think the image of a toddler aged walker going by the prison would make for a symbol of how much the world has changed.

    I was thinking maybe a walker with a prosthetic leg, but in reality it takes a certain amount of concentration to walk with a prosthetic leg, so I imagine the walker would fall over pretty quickly and not be able to stand again.

    Why do people say this they are so much weaker? The walkers are still exactly the same as season 2 and most of 1 (they were smarter in some parts due to different design decisions then). They have just been fighting them much longer and off them a lot more easily.
