    Alicia was screaming 'don't open it' in the preview when Nick goes to investigate the sound at the door. So what I'm wondering is...maybe when Nick pulls back the curtain, there is actually a dog at the door. When Nick opens the door to let the dog in, Pete comes in after it. ;)
