    I think Tonya Pinkins did a good job portraying Martha in the opener. Not her fault the writers have done crap for the season but this was my favorite episode of the season. S4/S5 vibes of TWD with the group on the road trying to survive and all that

    I agree about the actress. I think she’s very strong and would make an excellent “kick-ass” character. On the Talking Dead, they said she’s been nominated for multiple Tony’s (stage).

    I totally eviscerated the writing on another thread, so I also agree that’s at the heart of the ‘roles eyes’ responses to her character.
