    I'm not a graphic novel person, and before TWD the last comic I probably read was The Far Side, when I was 15. :p. But ever since TWD I've been wondering if there's another comic out there I could get addicted to. I think I found it.

    I ordered the first 6 volumes [perhaps 40+ issues worth] online, and I've read maybe 9 issues worth so far. Really enjoying it. The story is very engrossing so far, even though I had to start reading in volume 2, since it arrived 4 days ago, and I still haven't received volume 1. I got impatient. Its full of sacrilege and satire regarding religious hypocrisy, so how could it miss? :p.

    And the best part. AMC is turning it into a television series next year. ;). I suggest snatching up used volumes before they get expensive.

    I read a little of it, but I remember Preacher was a very popular "mature" comic book.

    Well, its not porn. Its got some mature themes in it, and there are characters that do things like sodomize animals, but they don't actually show it. And the plot is actually quite well thought out and engaging.

    The Far Side? I think we grew up in the same era! lol. Just that it ended around 1995 so I was 15 at the time. You could be 15 in 1980 so you much older haha? Preacher, hmm, not yet.

    I just turned 87 so I'm guessing I'm much older than you. :). And you need to read Preacher. It has everything. Sacrilege, mass murder, serial killing, vampires, angels, hell, giant sex parties....

    Highly inappropriate sir. Can you imagine if I'd done everything you've told me to do since I've been here? I'd have read at least 15 books and viewed roughly 5-7 entire series of television shows. And I'd weigh 200 lbs, and probably not have a job.
