The first Outcast trade paperback will be released this coming Wednesday, so you have a few days to decide. :)

Awesome. I decided to get the volumes, and apparently they've shipped already. Indigo (a giant Canadian bookseller, like Barnes & Noble) always ships super fast, so I should get them within the next few days. Hooray! I'm looking forward to having another comic series to discuss.

I bought it on preorder. It was only $9.00 for the first 6 comics. With that and other stuff I have a enough to read for a bit now.

Preacher was created and written by Garth Ennis, who later revitalized Marvel's superhero vigilante The Punisher. The Thomas Jane film version borrowed some of Ennis' early storylines.

I shovelled the snow and then continued binge watching The Wire. :zombies_blush: I'll start them later today.

Thanks, Jubi Lation.

I used to collect comics back in the day. Now everything I have is worthless. I sometimes think about having a bonfire in the backyard.

We're all proud of the New England Patriots. The same people who call Bill Belichick a cheater would demand their team hire him their head coach if he were available. As one former Pats player said, "They hate us 'cause they ain't us."

*fixed on the italics part lol
Which was a line taken straight out of the recent uproar from the controversial Seth Rogen and James Franco comedy "The Interview". I have not seen it yet but I will, and have had friends on fb saw it and they gave good reviews. I found the trailer hysterical, and based on the reviews and comments on the movie I wouldn't recommend it for the stoic and non humorous types.

But kudo point for being a former comic feen who now only thinks to burn his collection in a bonfire backyard.

Speaking of Seth Rogan, he is helping produce AMC's Preacher, and is helping to write the pilot.
