    That could work though. I've enjoyed the separate paths taken with TWD. It keeps you guessing.

    I went to start reading them again the other week, but I realized I'd forgotten a lot of what had happened, so I had to start from the beginning again. I still haven't finished book 1.

    Ahhh...see my comment in the Outcast thread. :(

    Last night I came home with a bundle of new comics that I'm months behind in reading (though, to be fair, my bundle had four variants of #150), and I promised myself I'd either systematically catch up with each series or stop buying it.

    How many issues do you think season 1 of Preacher will cover, though? I think with the amount I've read, I'll have until season 2 to get ahead. :)

    I'm not sure, I think they are playing with chronology. Because Arseface doesn't get introduced until I think the second or third volume [book], but in the show I think they are introducing him almost right away.

    Posted a thread awhile back, this is an awesome series, just hope it doesn't get shut down by religious groups.

    Can't wait to see the saint of killers; herr star, it's going to be epic.

    Bwahahah, they won't shut down shit. Watching religious groups get angry over this series will be one of the best aspects. :p

    Price keeps going up on these, and will continue to do so, I imagine, when the show becomes popular. Two years ago I paid one cent plus shipping for most of the volumes. I just checked amazon and depending on the volume, people are now selling them for between about 8 and 30 bucks each!

    Yeah, I think most of the expensive ones are first prints. Which were going for super cheap just a year or so ago.

    I tried reading the comic. Its too 90s edge for me. The show I think balances out what the comics did wrong with their own twist.
