The teaser shows Daryl standing, thinking, in front of the graves. I'm really hoping he's looking at Glenn's grave and he connects his rash actions causing Glenn's death to Carol's rash actions causing the cave to collapse.

Maybe even some dialog between the two where he connects those dots and through the guilt he carried he needs to forgive Carol.

 

Eugene: "At this moment, I believe it was a mistake to cease the production of our gunpowder and ammunition."

 

Hilltop's first nighttime lacrosse game was a complete failure.

 

Negan: "I didn't mean to fall in love with you, but shit, I have!"

 

Negan: "I freaking look like a young Marlon Brando playing Frankenstein!"

Seriously, I can't stop laughing at that.

 

I think he already knows. I think he knew all long. He knows that grief and boiling hatred can make you do stupid things. That's why he didn't lay into her when the cave collapsed. He's furious but he understands and feels sorry for her at the same time.

The problem with Carol and the big difference between Daryl and Carol's actions is that Daryl's was really at the spur of the moment, and it wasn't even about revenge, it was about stopping a bully tormenting his friend in the cruellest ways. And he thought he was only risking his own worthless life at that moment. Whilst Carol is not just acting on the spur of the moment, she's on a MISSION. And her main motivation is not protecting others. She is fixated on revenge, settling the score, making herself feel better. This motivation is so strong that it blinds her and makes her unaware of others around her.

Daryl has never been about revenge. It's not in his nature.

 

Wow Negan looks pretty pathetic with the Whisperer mask on while wearing his traditional leather jacket.

 

Yeah...but at least we'll be able to identify him during the inevitable DARKNESS of the battle scenes

 

Negan's leather jacket is his plot armor.

 

My bar is pretty low these days after the terrible Game of Thrones final season battle. It made the TWD dark episodes look bright, and was completely nonsensical.

 

I don't know why but it reminds me of the shrunken head dude on Beetlejuice. LOL

 

It's driving me crazy because it reminds me of some character but I haven't been able to place it yet. It was probably some obscure film.
