Random people at the camp?

    Does anyone know who these people might've been? They're just randomly with the group in this scene and never seen again. It's odd.

    They were just survivors like the rest of the group. They got killed when the camp got overrunned by the walkers.

    They were Background survivors or you can simply call them Redshirts. They have no contribution to the story.

    They were just extras there is fill out the group and be disposed.

    That was one of their most obvious appearances, but they did appear in the backgrounds of multiple shots throughout the episodes at the camp. But yeah....just red shirts.

    I talked about this in the governor thread. They are like all these new people they are adding this year, people to be killed without killing the major cast members.

    They were just other survivors. A lot of them died in the walker attack in 1x04.

    Damn, I would have liked to see these characters fleshed out more. Instead, they just became flesh for the walkers. What a shame.

    In the original filming, this guy was co-leader with Rick, and he had a naughty romantic interlude with Andrea that lasted most of season 2. He acted as a spy in Woodbury for Rick and Michonne and ended up winning the governor's trust, gaining him access to his private apartment, where he gathered intel on most of the town citizens and kidnapped Shumpert in a brave attempt at a hostage negotiation. But unfortunate editing choices cut his role down to this frame:

    Hopefully better actors then the background characters in Season Three. The people of Woodbury's reaction/cheering for Daryl/Merle's death still gives me cringes. Damn, I remember this one-woman that took the cake, so bad that it's laughable.

    Yeah I have been watching through season 1 and 2 again and I noticed them this time. Just extras, I'd imagine.

    We thought they were from the tail end of the plane, later we found out they weren't on the passenger manifest...
