I thought it was sad that he finally got the chance for some answers from Carol, but she basically told him she was faking their relationship...and she kinda/sorta/almost felt like maybe she wasn't pretending anymore. LOL...poor Tobin. He could have found a fly new lady at the Hilltop with that rugged new beard he was sporting!

 

The "maybe not pretending anymore" should have been our clue that his death was nigh.

 

I felt so bad for Carol when she realized that was Tobin

 

IKR? I thought he looked rather fetching with the face hair.

 

Poor Tobin, I’m glad he got his much deserved screen time and he went out with a bang too. Tobin was going to die off eventually and he went out in a memorable way. I like how they slid Bruce in there at the end too. He was there at the start along with Tobin from day one. And he goes out the same day as him. Besties <\3

 

I called it a couple weeks ago when he was carrying Judith on the way to Hilltop. Another Judith babysitter bits it. Let's see... Beth, Tyress, Carl, now Tobin. Oh yeah, even Jessie watched her in Alexandria. And Lori who nurtured her first. Yep, that kid is a curse.

I was partially expecting Ezekiel to notice Carol's attention toward Tobin - not for some major drama, but maybe a curious glance like hmmmmmm who's this fella. Guess they had more important things to worry about

 

I am tired of all this Carol teasing. First Daryl, then Tobin (not really a tease but kinda), then Morgan and now Zeke. Carol needs some lovin.

 

Yeah! I was never on board with Daryl/Carol but I am FULLY on board with Ezekiel/Carol. The pomegranates were so suggestive.

 

I'm still pissed Daryl/Carol never took off.

 

If I remember correctly, that was all on Daryl. His loss too, IMO.

 

That's what I thought. A man doesn't go out of his way to bring you pomegranates in the middle of the ZA unless in the back of his mind he's hoping to get lucky. At the very least I'd say he was interested.

 

Multiple times.

Carol: Wanna fool around?
Daryl: Pffft.

Daryl: I'll go down first.
Carol: Even better.
Daryl: Stop.

And

Carol: I liked you first.
Daryl: *laughs*

I never liked the idea of Carol and Daryl. I like Daryl better without being in a relationship. It's as if he understands that a romantic relationship is a distraction and he doesn't want that.
