2 WEEKS LATER

Kwan had crossed into Japan with the help of a cargo vessel, but was too late to prevent the widespread death the illness caused. He was walking along a road, using a machete he found to cut down two infected, when we heard, coming from the clearing ahead, the sound of an angry man being attacked. He rushed up and hid behind a tree to witness a man dressed in makeshift armor and ragged clothing dragging a beautiful Chinese woman along, while two other men were being held at gunpoint. The man shouted in Japanese “Now you are going to know what a man really is!!” Kwan stepped out from the tree and raised his rifle, shooting the man in the head, then the other two men. A fourth man armed with a knife rushed from nearby, when the largest captive grabbed a fire axe, cutting down the attacker.
Kwan nodded, clearly shook up. “Thanks friend” he mustered to blurt out in Japanese. The large man grinned and patted him on the shoulder. “No…thank you friend. Name is Shinsuke Goro, former world famous wrestler. The dark silent mute over there with the excellent table manners is Kuma, and the hottie you saved is-” The woman butted in front of Shinsuke and finished “Dr. Zhang Hwang. And you know I hate being called hottie Shinsuke” The wrestler waggled his fingers, and went to loot the remains of the raiders.
Kwan looked around him, and asked “So what were you guys doing?” Kuma walked up and blurted “Traveling” Kwan raised an eyebrow. “Traveling where, exactly?” Dr. Hwang answered “Towards a safe haven aboard an aircraft carrier, called the Shinda. You want to come with us in our search” Kwan grinned and said in an upbeat tone: “Count me in”

I am unsure whether or not I will continue this series, since there were very few readers.
Also, I want to focus my energy on TWDJ, so i probably won't keep this series going, but if I do it would be a 6 episode mini season if that.
I hope you all enjoyed the series thus far, and again I appreciate each and every reader.
