I was just wondering if that roadside walker is a sign of things to come? Are the walkers decaying enough that the enormous herds won't be a problem in the years to come? He seemed awful feeble compared to say Bicycle Girl. He could move his arms but didn't grab a dog for lunch.

So maybe eventually the only walkers one would have to fear are fresh ones. Which would be fewer and fewer because who in their right mind would have a child in that kind of world. Unless we find out via Judith dying that anyone born after the ZA is immune and won't turn.

I think the walkers might try eating the flies and they might not be able to lay eggs. That or the maggots get eaten so the genetics to lay eggs in walkers don't get passed on
