My somewhat spoilery prediction.

 

It was harsh because she obviously intended to hurt him so he would make the damn bullet but it was also the truth. He's a coward and weak. And any special intelligence he may have he doesn't put it to any good use so he's basically a nuisance.

 

Heh, well, we'll have to see about that. He has made improvements since we first met him but so far I'm not impressed at all.
But I'm always up for characters changing and showing new sides to them

 

I think she would have motivated Eugene more if she let him watch her shower.
