Now that we have seen the first half of the season, it is a good time to reflect.

I really enjoyed the first half. It has lived upto my expectations perfectly. A few things could have been done better or neater imo (e.g Whisperers' origin story, falling into a trap at the end of MSF), but on the whole: exciting, thought provoking and very enjoyable, with beautiful dramatic moments and great performances from the cast. 9/10.

Top Scores on rewatchability. I've already rewatched most of the episodes and will do again before 10B.

(It's interesting how rewatchability is not necessarily the same as how great an episode is. Take 6x16 for example. Fantastic as it was, it made me feel physically ill. Not to mention 7x01. I don't think I can ever go back to watching most of the first half of Season7, because it was just so damn painful and depressing. Best ending ever to a midseason though: Rick and Daryl reunited, TF at Hilltop, marching purposefully with fresh determination to talk strategy of fighting back. My kinda midseason finale.)
