    yeah.....and if she loved shane is it really rape? thats the whole point of this thread before it got out of control with people getting hostile

    It's still sexual assault because she did not return his advances but he still proceeded to come on to her.

    That's all I was trying to say.

    agreed. but if she 'didnt press charges' (tell her group in this case or let shane leave or show ANY sign that she hated him for it) so then who are we to say shane deserves so and so for doing this when thats loris call to make and she made that call.

    He does deserve it but like u said, will only ever be called out on it if Lori told someone.

    I'm tapping out. Everyone has raised some valid points, but if we continue to go around it I think we'll just end up aggravating each other more. I respect your opinions, even those with which I disagree. If you remember anything I've said in this discussion, I hope it's that your impassioned responses prove to me that you're all good people.
