This was a powerful scene! The only thing that could have made it better would have been a mouth to mouth kiss between Shane and Rick with Carl observing it all undetected. He would then battle with the secret of his father's true sexuality. Season 3 could have been a very different show.

It was in the church when Rick was saying that they needed to attack them before they were attacked, citing that they were all evil people though he did not know that for sure. They show Tara get rigid sitting next to Denise, as it was very similar to what the Governor was saying before the attack on the prison.
