Having many Hindu friends, the title for this episode instantly made me connect it to their belief in the eternal cycle of life and death. Kinda relates to the same theme of Ouroboros - new life from death. Shiva is also the mourning period for a close loved one in Judaism. Sure are a lot of varying religious overtones lately - so the title may highlight a philosophy or more directly, the death of a family member? Both?

Shiva is also Hebrew for the number 7. And as this is the 7th episode, it makes so much sense.

LOL I'm just kidding. You both are probably right to link those two things in. The theme of Shiva is probably also has something to do with Celia's cult. My guess is that she and her people are intentionally killing people and allowing them to turn, making people sick and/or protecting walkers in order to usher in a new era.

And yes. Somebody is going to die in this episode. I think it will be either Travis or Daniel(!!!). Daniel dying would be a horrible shock. I would be floored.

If Travis dies, he'll either be murdered by Chris or it'll be a complete accident. Chris has gotten to be way too important to the narrative to die now and there's still the dangling lovelorn Pirate Jack story that can do wonders for Alicia.
