Hmm if i had to compare.

1)I like Glenn better on the show than in the comics, he seems slightly more badass after what he did to walker when Mele tied him up to a chair to get killed. I also like Glenn and Maggies relationship better its more romantic, and shows a true bond of soul mate in the tv show. Whereas in the comic their relationship was primarily out of lust then transitioned into love coming closer to their arrival to Alexandra safe zone.

2)I can't make a decision on Michonne as yet as they've yet to full draw out her character, but If i had to choose I'd pick comic Michonne as she isn't as one dimensional.

3)I like Andrea from the comics a lot more than from the tv show. Comic andrea is more conflicted and real to me (Irony music here), isn't a bumbling idiot, and actually contribute and helps the group, and was always there at the most critical times. Rather than **** things up for people (See shooting daryl in the farm), or whine and complain as her tv show counterpart loves to do.

4) I like comic rick a lot more than i like tv Rick. Comic rick showed a more gradual progression from being Mr. all American heroe to cold blooded survivor. He also wasn't as slow as tv Rick, and caught on quick the principle of surviving at all cost, going so far as to cut off a women's hand just to save himself and his son for example.

Pretty much this, but I much prefer T.V Governor.

 

I definitley like them both but I liked the evil side of The Governor, plus he's got a eye patch. You can't get much more badass then that xD

Andrea is probably my favorite character in the comics next to Rick, but on the TV series she tends to aggravate me. I'm hoping she'll become more like her comic counterpart on the show, but as of right now it seems like Maggie is going more towards Andrea's comic role.

 

I love both comic and show Andrea, they are both my favouraite characters. I would still love tv Andrea either way but i would love it if she started taking her comic book path!

The only ones I feel differently about in the show are Carol and Maggie. They irritate me in the comics. Especially Maggie.

Comic- Rick, Carl, Glenn (TV hes more badass, but i like Glenns kind of innocence in the comics), Michonne, Sophia, Dale, Andrea, The Governor
no preference- Amy, Jim, Patricia, Martinez


i do like the Glenn-Maggie relationship more on the TV show.

i dont consider TV Allen/Ben/Donna to be the same characters as the comics, just happen to have the same names.
