Obviously she should have instinctively known that it was Daryl, despite the fact that he looked and moved like one of the millions of monsters now roaming the Earth! Gawd.

Silly little girl, not listening to the men like she was supposed to. By the way, what was Daryl doing out there again? Oh, yeah, he stole a horse, ran off and lost said horse while nearly getting himself killed for not listening...nevermind though, he has a ***** so it's ok.

EDIT:- I love how the latest 4 posters in this thread are all "Andrea's Angels".

Personally I like the shows characters better for the most part. A couple I gave to the comics could also change as the show progresses.

    Rick - incomplete
    Carl - comic
    Shane - show
    Lori - show
    Morgan - show
    Andrea - comic
    Glenn - show
    Maggie - show
    Hershel - show
    Tyreese - comic
    Dale - show
    Sophia - show
    Otis - show
    The Governor - show
    Jim - show
    Amy - show
    Michonne - comic

What are the conditions? Because I think it's a little unfair to compare the Show characters to their Comic-Counterparts that were/are around longer, have more development.

For example, I think TV Rick and Carl are better then Comic Rick and Carl during the Prison Arc. However, current Comic Rick and Carl are better.

I agree. Sometimes people forget that the comic book characters have had more time. People automatically say comic book Rick is better when TV Rick hasn't even left the prison. Up to this point, I like where TV Rick has gone better. Carl didn't really start to develop until after they left the prison as well, so I feel the same way about Carl. Honestly, I believe the show has superior characters. People already give the edge to a few/many of the shows characters, and there have only been three seasons so far. The acting does help too, The Walking Dead has cast everyone extremely well.

I have a question, how would you compare show Rick up to the point when comic Rick was at the prison? I think it's a little unfair to pick on certain characters because they've been through more in the comic.

The Governor was so much better in the TV Show, at least in terms of how the character was written and developed, in the TV Show we had a reason as to why he is who he is, and overall Woodbury is so much better in the show as well; they did a really good job with that story arc.

I do agree about TG in some ways. In the comics I really felt slapped in the face just like that. He takes them in and in a second turns into some crazy maniac. At least in the TV shows I didn't "suspect" it (if you know what I mean)

IMO, the differences are the following:

    Better on TV
1- Carol In my opinion, she is the biggest change from comics to TV. The comic Carol is the weakest of the group, including the children. She lives for the acceptance of others, and is tormented when others don't love her enough. Then you have TV Carol, who is arguably one of the strongest of the group. She is one of my favorites on the TV show. Strong, decisive, and always willing to step up. But obviously like every good character, she isn't perfect.

2- Hershel Wins second place for best improvement from the comics. Seeing TV Hershel slowing change overtime, but still retain his pure nature is quite interesting and inspiring. In the comics, he just seemed a bit off to me. The biggest example is the walker filled barn. With the TV Hershel, I could kind of understand where he was coming from. But in the comics he just seems like some crazy guy who doesn't know how to control them at all.

    Better in the Comics
3- Maggie/Glenn I have only read through Comic 60, but so far I think they are better in the comics. In the TV show, I really liked Glenn... Until he started revolving around Maggie. In the comics they deal with real issues and develop. In the TV show... They just waste screen time. Obviously, this is just my opinion. But I hope one of them dies soon so the other can move on and grow. Actually, as long as they stay separated for a while I will be happy.

4- Rick/Carl - I know Rick is a flawed character and that is the point, but I have yet to strongly disagree with anything that comic Rick as done (through issue 60). Rick on the TV show makes me cringe. I liked him season 1 and 2, but now every time I see him I don't root for him like I used to. Carl also seems more vulnerable and like able in the comics. In the TV show they try to hard to make him look like a BA. I'd rather see him as a real child.

Obviously all of the characters are a bit different, but in my opinion, these are the only ones that I feel the most strongly about.

Axel - Show (This might be the biggest difference for me, next to Andrea. I loved TVAxel. I couldn't stomach GN Axel. "You follow me?" UGH!!)
    Governor - Show

Tyreese - This one might be dead even for me. But Chad Coleman doesn't play aggressive badass as well as he plays the sensitive teddy bear, IMO.
