    That was such a WEIRD conversation. Why did they say all that weird stuff? That is probably my only complaint about the episode.

    It was strange for sure but Dante' had to be introduced somehow.

    I am hoping that we are not suppose to like him (Dante') in the beginning and through a series of events we are given a reason to change our mind

    My question is why did he call Siddiq jef? Is that suppose to mean something that I am clueless about?

    I think they were setting up the idea that Dante is an arrogant dick, and that will probably come into play later. He seems to have a god complex. I'll have to watch again tonight, but I thought he called Siddiq "Jefe" which basically means "boss". Its like saying "hey boss".

    I heard the Jefe part too, and took it to meaning boss man.

    I think he’s going to be a carbon copy of his comic counterpart. And Maggie’s next fling.

    I'm also wondering if his creepy introduction isn't meant to serve the character later when he does something that makes us like him. In a way that's what made characters like Gabriel and even Dwight so interesting, they started off as characters we didn't like and didn't trust.

    That is what I think will happen.

    The other option is that he is this seasons quasi Gregory but I just do not see them going down that road.

    Rewatching the episode last night, the weird part for me was him commenting on Siddiq looking at his mouth, and telling him to kiss him already and Siddiq sarcastically saying "tempting".

    It was just such an odd, random choice of dialogue. Lol
