Am I the only one who is experiencing a slight roll of the eyes thus far?

The vultures seem very similar to the wolves when "rounding" up the infected and herding them into a trailer.

First we had farmer Rick and now we have farmer Nick.

And farmer Nick is plagued with boll weevils just like Nabila.

And there is a guy walking around with a stick yammering on and on about not killing

I suppose it is a welcome relief to all of those who first theorized that Enid was a spy for the wolves and then when that did not pan out she was a spy for the Saviors......

With Charlie they get a kid who is a spy for the Wolviors - conspiracy theory realized!

O M G I might have to throw myself in the dungeon with all the bitching and moaning I am doing this morning.

I need to take a break and find my happy place again or just stare at my cute AF Tom Payne siggy gif

This new person at work just puts me in a piss poor mood and I lash out at any and all persons places or things

Boll weevils go after cotton bolls (the seed pods). Nick and Rick may fight weevils, but they don't have boll weevils.

Just to add to Dnae's list of similarities.

    1. The group leader inspires immediate loyalty
    2. Walkie-Talkies never work
    3. The group's new home appears safe, but has problems (a breach, walls are frail, crops aren't growing)
    4. Main characters leave their new home and wind up with guns pointed at them
    5. A main character is keeping a secret from the group
    6. Flashbacks and time jumps
    7. The leader of the opposing group is a hipster.
    8. The leader of the opposing group uses annoying music to try and break the good guys.

As a TWD fan, I think it's almost impossible to not make comparisons or see similarities.
Hopefully the introduction of new characters will put a different spin on things we find familiar and make them interesting.

Here's more similarities to add to the list:

    9. Bullet wounds are like mosquito bites.

    10. Walkers rarely bite

    11. Walkers only bite main characters to generate publicity and ratings.

    12. Ammunition is infinite until a character is backed up against a wall.

I watched episode 2 last night, and I have to say there is a similar feel to when they settled at the prison in TWD, but to me that is a strength for this show. I didn't feel like it was repetitive, but rather I felt like I was back in the same universe again as TWD which was the original reason I was excited for a spinoff. I wanted to see similar (yet also different) situations that were going on in other areas while Rick & Co. were also trying to survive. I didn't get that feel before. I found myself glued...and the third time may have been a charm!

I am even connecting more with the characters, which I thought was a lost cause. Madison seems better somehow in this season...i can't pinpoint why exactly. More down to earth...relatable...there's more of a warmth to her than I was able to get from her before.

This is what I was hoping for......some peeps to pull me out of my negative space. I do not like it when my negative nancy side overtakes my positive pollyanna side.

I was just so disappointed in the premier episode. Not that it was a bad episode, but I was just expecting more than what I got. And I suppose I allowed the negativity spill over into episode 2.

Well I think there definitely are similarities! It just so happens for me, that's a good thing lol. I do think it is different enough (in my opinion) to be fresh...while giving us that TWD feel.

LOL because they go down like dominoes and it's hilarious. I also love how Eugene is just standing up straight while it all happens. I wish i could add a voiceover to the GIF...like "doh! oh ouch! my hand!"

Kim Dickens said on TD that Madison has more of a benevolent spirit this days.

She's doing a good job portraying that then, because I definitely picked up on it!
