I Don't know,:Grin: have you ever seen a engineer try to make a simple subjective decision outside their field, they may have all gotten stuck trying to plot the best route out of town.


Seriously though , they don't even tell us what most peoples pre ZA profession was. The prison , The Governor and ASZ had several medical people. We could make an argument some professions would be over-represented , those who make split second decision in high stress situations on a regular basis would probably have a little edge.

 

Why would they go to all the trouble of digging a trench, when they had to deal with just a handful of walkers since ZA kicked off? It makes perfect sense to us, but that because we've seen the real ZA, not the sheltered oasis, that Alexandria is.

With regard to the survivalists, i think over confidence is a problem. If you have told anyone that you are a survivalist then people are coming to your door first. You have food and guns. non survivalists don't. They are already a bigger target than standard civilians. As a survivalist, if you think your ready to cope with the shit storm, you're already wrong. Personally I think they would be some of the first to go.

A cop is reasonably expected to be among the top surviving professions. How about an used car salesman? What kind of skills does such a professional possess that gives him an edge in a ZA?
